If you’re headed to the Interior Monday morning, you’ll have to detour north of Hope due to a vehicle “incident.”
Highway 1 eastbound is closed south of Hope near Silver Creek.
The closure is in between Laidlaw Road and Flood Road. If you’re heading east, you’ll need to take Highway 9 to Highway 9 through Agassiz, and then get back onto Highway 1 closer to closer to Hope.
DriveBC is expected to provide an update on the highway closure at 8 a.m.
