One person has died in a crash involving a motorcycle and a firetruck responding to a call in Stanley Park Saturday afternoon.
Vancouver Fire Rescue Services confirmed that despite best efforts by emergency personnel, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Our crews respond to other people’s emergencies every day in this city, to be involved in such a tragic incident while responding is heartbreaking,” said Vancouver Fire Rescue Services Chief Karen Fry.
Drivers can still expect traffic surrounding in the area as crews investigate the incident.
