The Vancouver Fire Rescue Services is on the scene of a garage fire in East Vancouver Tuesday morning.
Firefighters tell 1130 NewsRadio that they have Rupert Street closed while crews work on the fire near 3rd Avenue and Skeena Street.
Taking to social media, VFRS says the garage is “fully involved.”
“Crews getting water on the fire and conducting search efforts,” crews shared.
One caller to 1130 shared that they could see smoke from Grandview Highway, just south of the area of the fire.
