Police in Delta are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man who they believe to be injured.
In a statement on Monday, the Delta Police Department is requesting that residents in the Sunstone neighbourhood in North Delta check their sheds, yards, and cars for 21-year-old Tajas.
At around 3:40 a.m. Monday, Tajas allegedly left a home wearing only underwear, “with a significant injury.”
Police describe Tajas as being 5’9″ and around 120 pounds.
“Residents of the neighbourhood are asked to physically check yards, sheds, cars, or any areas where a person may be able to take shelter. The request is urgent, given the injury Tajas has sustained,” police said.
Police are asking for the public to not approach and instead to call 911 if they see Tajas.
“Multiple officers are currently in the area conducting a search as well as conducting a video canvas to aid in locating Tajas.”
