A video of a dangerous stunt on a SkyTrain in Metro Vancouver is attracting a lot of attention after it was posted online last week.
The footage posted to Instagram shows someone perched above the gap between two cars as the SkyTrain reaches full speed along a stretch of track in Vancouver.
Whoever is recording has their feet perched on narrow ledges and, as the camera pans down, you see a blur of track underneath.
Their clothes flap and snap in the wind as another train flies by on the opposite track while they hold on with one hand.
Many of the replies to the post are blasting the stunt, pointing out how risky it is.
“… this is incredibly idiotic and could lead you to receiving a Darwin award for dying in a stupid way while putting other people’s lives at risk. Give your head a f****ng shake,” one person wrote.
“Bro is gonna end up dead on the news soon,” replied another.
Metro Vancouver Transit Police have told the media it is investigating.

The Instagram account’s bio identifies the poster as a 23-year-old “urban climber.”
There are videos and images of other dangerous, precarious perches and stunts on trains, construction cranes, and even from the top of the towers of the Lions Gate Bridge.
