Police say a suspect has been charged after 12 businesses in East Vancouver and the downtown core were reportedly robbed last year.
The Vancouver Police Department says the businesses were targeted between June and December of 2023. The events prompted what the VPD is calling “an extensive investigation.”
“Our detectives worked for months to collect and analyze evidence, which linked the cases to a single suspect,” said Const. Tania Visintin. “With that important evidence, we were able to make an arrest and obtain criminal charges.”
Police say 29-year-old Jason Crawley was arrested on Dec. 22.
He is facing 12 counts of robbery and has since been released from custody.
