Canucks Game 6 viewing party tickets go for premium on resale market

It’s hottest ticket in town and the team isn’t even there!

After selling out on Thursday, seats for Friday’s Vancouver Canucks Game 6 viewing party at Rogers Arena are going for a premium on the resale market.

On StubHub, tickets are selling for double or triple the original price, or even more.

The online reseller lists some lower bowl, row 21 seats as sold for $126 each.

The Canucks can advance to Round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with win over the Predators in Nashville Friday afternoon —Vancouver leads the series three games to two.

The viewing party tickets sold out quickly, at $15 dollars apiece, with the Rogers Arena offering reduced prices on some food and drink.

Proceeds are going to the Canucks for Kids Fund.

If the Canucks win Friday, they will move on to play the Edmonton Oilers in Round 2.

If the team loses, a deciding Game 7 will be back in Vancouver on Sunday.

Game time is just after 4pm in Nashville with full coverage on CityNews 1130, and you can listen to the game live on Sportsnet 650.

Rogers is the parent company of this station.
