If you’re planning to use the Cambie Bridge Thursday night, you might want to plan an alternate route.
The City of Vancouver says the bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday morning to “accommodate filming of a major motion picture.”
“Traffic will be closed in both directions on the bridge during filming from 7th Avenue to Beatty Street,” the city said.
During the closure, transit will be rerouted and pedestrians and cyclists should also look for alternate routes.
The city didn’t specify which movie is filming, however, there are a number of productions happening in Vancouver this week, according to Creative BC.
“Residents may notice noise from drones and lights from cranes, which will be used during filming,” the city explained.
