Mounties in Burnaby have shared a sketch of the suspect in a sexual assault in the city’s Edmonds area.
Police say the assault took place on Nov. 17, 2024, shortly after midnight.
The victim reports that she was walking in Stride Avenue Ravine Park when she was grabbed from behind and then sexually assaulted, police say.
Stride Avenue Ravine Park is bordered by 18th and 17th Avenues, Leeside Street, and Griffiths Drive.
Police have since obtained a detailed description of the suspect and are now sharing a sketch.
He is described as being in his 30s with a slim build, long blond messy hair, a blond beard with a patch missing on his right cheek, prominent ears, and crooked yellow teeth.
He was believed to have been wearing a red jacket and beige track pants at the time of the attack.
