There’s more reel than real to the boat fire spotted on Vancouver’s Spanish Banks Beach Thursday morning.
Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (VFRS) says the flaming vessel is a part of a movie shoot scheduled to run until Friday.
Social media users in the city started reporting seeing the flames and smoke Thursday morning, with many witnesses also apparently calling emergency crews.
“We appreciate the people concerned about fire activity and smoke and who have called,” said VFRS
