B.C. to give update on wildfires in province

With the number of wildfires falling around B.C., the provincial government is set to give an update on its latest forecast.

Emergency Management and Climate Readiness Minister Bowinn Ma, Resource Minister Nathan Cullen, and experts from several agencies are expected to weigh in Wednesday afternoon.

As of Wednesday morning, there were 278 active wildfires in the province. Only a couple of weeks ago, there were more than 400 wildfires.
