B.C. rescinds COVID-19 public health emergency, vaccine requirement for health-care workers

Effective Friday, July 26, the B.C. public health emergency due to COVID-19 has ended.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced the change Friday alongside Health Minister Adrian Dix.

The ending of the health emergency means all remaining public health orders and restrictions have been lifted. This includes mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for health-care workers.
