Election day in B.C. is Saturday, Oct. 19, but you can vote as early as Thursday if you’re ready.
Advance polls open across the province at 8 a.m. Oct. 10, and close at 8 p.m., which is generally the case through next Wednesday, with the exception of the Thanksgiving holiday Monday.
If you are an eligible voter, you are also eligible for advance voting — you don’t need a special reason to do it.
To track down the closest location, check the ‘Where to Vote’ card that should have been mailed to you.
If you didn’t receive one, you can check the Elections BC website.
Whichever method you use, be sure to check the hours as not all advance voting places are open every day of the advance voting period.
NDP leader David Eby plans to take advantage of advance voting in his home district of Vancouver-Point Grey this afternoon after a 9:30 a.m. campaign appearance in Coquitlam.
Green leader Sonia Furstenau is in Victoria for a local all-candidates morning radio debate.
Furstenau and Eby will be at a “leaders dialogue” hosted by the Surrey Board of Trade Thursday evening.
Conservative leader John Rustad is campaigning in North Vancouver at 10 a.m.
