Agassiz RCMP seeks public’s help identifying suspect in theft investigation

The Agassiz RCMP is turning to the public to help identify a suspect in an alleged theft in a Save-On-Foods in Chilliwack.

Mounties say the incident happened June 14 at the store on Luckakuck Way near Evans Road.

Surveillance footage shows a man allegedly stealing a wallet from someone’s shopping cart.



Police say the suspect is believed to have made purchases using the person’s cards in other municipalities, including Chilliwack and Langley.

The suspect is described as having a large build and a round partial beard. When the alleged theft took place, video surveillance footage shows the suspect wearing an Air Jordan Jumpman black hoodie, tight-fitting dark blue ripped jeans, and white sneakers.
