A notorious B.C. gangster has been charged in relation to a shooting last week in Fort Nelson.
The BC RCMP says the shooting happened on Wednesday, Jan. 29 in front of a local business and sent one person to hospital.
Police say two 41-year-old men were arrested following the shooting. One was arrested at a traffic stop, and the other after a search warrant was executed on 49th Avenue in Fort Nelson.
Jarrod Bacon — one of the notorious Bacon Brothers, of Abbotsford — has been charged with aggravated assault.
Another man, John Chasse, is also facing charges in connection to the shooting.
Mounties say both men are in police custody awaiting their next court dates.
