A man and woman are in custody after an alleged assault in Maple Ridge Wednesday morning.
The Ridge Meadows RCMP says it was called to 121 Avenue near 224 Street for reports of an assault around 11:15 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from “visible injuries.”
Mounties say officers in the area quickly found and arrested the suspects, who remain in custody.
Police say the victim was transported to hospital and has since been released.
