One person is in hospital following a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 17 in Delta that happened early Sunday morning.
James Sandberg with Delta Police says they were called to the road westbound at the Highway 91 connector at around 4 a.m. where they found one person with serious injuries.
“As a result of those injuries, we have a collision analyst that will be on scene and reconstructing the collision to determine exactly what happened,” Sandberg told 1130 NewsRadio.
“So there will be lane closures in the area for quite some time this morning.”
Sandberg says it’s too early to tell whether speed or alcohol are factors.
Police are urging drivers to give crews space as they investigate.
