The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Fleurs de Villes, announces the launch of ARTISTE, a vibrant floral art experience at VanDusen Botanical Garden from June 21 to 30, 2024. This fresh floral event will feature 25 art-themed installations, crafted by Vancouver’s top floral talent.
Attendees can expect a dynamic exhibition of cultural storytelling through floral artistry. As part of its global tour, ARTISTE will showcase a series of floral mannequins and spectacular displays inspired by accomplished visual and performing artists throughout history and Vancouver’s vibrant art scene.
Event details
This outdoor event takes place along the stunning Autumn Stroll at VanDusen Botanical Garden and will include free workshops and seminars every 90 minutes. Guests can expect informative talks and demonstrations with topics ranging from bouquet making and ikebana, to floristry trends and flower arranging. In addition, executive chef Matthew Phillip of Shaughnessy Restaurant will host daily botanical-inspired culinary talks.
Aperitivo!, an Italian-inspired mobile bar and café, will be on site serving savoury treats, beverages, and cocktails. On weekends, guests can shop for artisanal bouquets at the floral market.
ARTISTE is open from 11am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 7pm on weekends. A special event ticket is required to access the event area.

Tickets are now available online. Pricing (exclusive of GST and service fees) is as follows:
- Adult (19 to 64): $26
- Senior (65+) or youth (13 to 18): $22
- Child (5 to 12): $10
- Preschooler (4 and under): Free (ticket required for entry)
- Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association member: $20
Tickets include general admission to the entire 55-acre VanDusen Botanical Garden.
Background
Fleurs de Villes has produced more than 100 luxury floral shows worldwide. Returning to VanDusen Botanical Garden for the second time after the success of VOYAGE in 2023, Fleurs de Villes debuts its West Coast premiere of ARTISTE.
Each edition of Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE is unique to its host city, with Vancouver’s event marking the 103rd floral event in the company’s six-year history.
