City Council met this week to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council, and Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.
Tuesday, February 6
This week’s Council began with Mayor Sim presenting the Black History Month proclamation. Council then approved the following reports and referral reports on consent:
After that, Council approved report, Urgent Mental Health and Substance Use Service Enhancements Grant PDF file (111 KB).
Council then approved By-laws 1-6 PDF file (10.3 MB).
Wednesday, February 7
The Standing Committee on City Finance and Services began with Mayor Sim presenting the Lunar New Year proclamation. Following that, the Standing Committee received two presentations:
The Standing Committee then approved the following reports and member’s motion:
A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting in which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.
