Vancouver City Council met this week with some members joining electronically and others in-person, to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council, Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities, and Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.
Tuesday, July 19
This week’s Council began with the approval of Community Housing Incentive Program Grant PDF file (66 KB) on consent. After that, Council approved the following reports:
Council deferred By-law 1 PDF file (19 MB), 3 to 22 PDF file (241 KB), 25 to 63 PDF file (30 MB), and 64 to 66 PDF file (372 KB) to the Council meeting following the Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities on July 20. By-laws 2, 23, and 24 were withdrawn.

Thursday, July 21
A Council meeting convened on Thursday, July 21 to consider the following deferred items from July 5:
A Public Hearing was held on Thursday night where Council heard from speakers on CD-1 Rezoning: 906-982 West 18th Avenue and 907-969 West 19th Avenue PDF file (29 KB). Debate and decision were deferred to Tuesday, July 26.
Friday, July 22
The Standing Committee on City Finance and Services approved Vancouver Plan: A long range plan to guide growth and change PDF file (222 MB), with amendments.
