July 16 2024 –
Firefighters were called at 6:07pm to the 6100 Block of Commercial street for reports of a fire inside of a house. Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke and fire coming from a residential house. 2 houses have been destroyed because of the fire as well as damaging 2 adjacent houses.
1 person was sent to hospital with minor smoke inhalation and released from hospital.
10 people have been displaced from the fire and ESS was on scene to assist.
Fire is under investigation.
