Canada’s Summer McIntosh will swim for her third Paris 2024 medal on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. ET when she hits the pool for the women’s 200m butterfly final.

The 17-year-old phenom from Toronto secured back-to-back world titles in the event in 2022 and 2023 before skipping the 2024 world championships, like many other top swimmers, to focus on the Olympic Games.

McIntosh posted the fastest time in the event’s semifinals on Wednesday.

The Canadian swimmer struck gold in the women’s 400m individual medley and earned silver in the 400m freestyle event in Paris.

Other Canadian swimming action on Thursday:

  • The women’s 4x200m freestyle relay team final at 4:03 p.m. ET
  • Josh Liendo in the men’s 50m freestyle semifinals at 2:52 p.m. ET
  • Kylie Masse in the women’s 200m backstroke semifinals at 5:19 p.m. ET
  • Finlay Knox in the men’s 200m individual medley semifinal at 3:55 p.m. ET
