Police asking for help to find missing Surrey teen: RCMP

Mounties in B.C. are asking for help from the public in locating a Surrey teen reported missing since Friday. 

Gabriella Doherty, 14, was reported missing from her Fleetwood residence on July 26, according to an RCMP news release on Sunday. 

Officials say the missing teen was last seen around 8:30 am on July 27, in the area of 104 Avenue and King George Boulevard in Whalley.

In a statement to CBC News, the local RCMP said Gabriella’s family are concerned for her health and well-being.

Gabriella is 5 feet tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with light-coloured skin, short brown hair and blue eyes. Police say she has scars on her left arm and she was last seen wearing grey sweat pants.
