Here is every Canadian team’s playoff run since 1994, the year after the cup was hoisted by a Canadian team, the Montreal Canadiens.

After defeating the Edmonton Oilers in a tense Game 7, the Florida Panthers drank from hockey’s holy grail — meaning Canada’s Stanley Cup drought will stretch into another season.

Next season will mark 32 years since the cup called Canada home, and in that time, a Canadian team has made it to the finals just seven times.
