Amid a prolonged drought, Metro Vancouver introduced lawn watering restrictions earlier this week. CBC’s Ali Pitargue went on a walking tour hosted by local horticulture enthusiasts to showcase alternatives to grass lawns, including native plants and vegetables, that could be more resistant to drought.
