Homicide team investigating shooting death in Langley, B.C.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called to Langley, B.C. after a fatal shooting early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 7000 block of 202B Street just after midnight on Aug.2 after reports of gunfire, Langley RCMP said in a statement.

Police say they were responding to the call when they received an additional report that two men with gunshot wounds had turned up at a local hospital.

One of them died from his injuries.

The Mounties are working with IHIT to investigate the shooting, which police say appears to be an isolated incident.
