Trevor Dinwoodie of the National Police Federation clarifies comments made by B.C. Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth suggesting Surrey RCMP members will work under the Surrey Police Service with the stroke of a pen. Dinwoodie says the law must change and members must provide informed consent for this to happen.
