Homicide investigators are looking into the death of a man who was shot in a Surrey, B.C. parking lot at the beginning of July.
The shooting was described as a “targeted, isolated incident” by police and the age and identity of the deceased were not disclosed.
Police received reports of a shooting at the parking lot near Cineplex Cinemas Strawberry Hill on 122 Street around 5:30 a.m. PT on July 5, they said.
The man succumbed to his injuries after being taken to hospital, police said on Friday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking into the case, according to RCMP.
