The Vancouver Police Department has shut down a major intersection in East Vancouver Wednesday morning after a cyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a vehicle.
The VPD says the cyclist was taken to hospital after being hit at the Clark Drive and Broadway intersection around 6 a.m.
“The driver of the vehicle remained on scene to speak with police,” Const. Tania Visintin told CityNews.
Police say the intersection will remain closed while officers investigate.
