Jared Leto was spotted in the grid over the weekend.
The actor, who is currently shooting Disney’s Tron: Ares, the third installment in the Tron franchise, was seen filming scenes around Vancouver and fans even got some shots of the props that we’ll see in the film.
Fans shared the photos and videos online and it’s getting people excited for the 2025 release of the film.
In a video shared on X, Leto is seen walking out of the Bentall 5 building, located at 550 Burrard Street, in his red suit.
As you can see in the video the sign ENCOM is above it, which makes it look like the building will be used as ENCOM HQ in the Disney movie.
Another fan managed to capture a photo of the interior of the building, which shows the lobby decked out in ENCOM gear.
Another cool photo shared on social media includes a look at one of the futuristic cars that was spotted on the Tron set.
One video also shows Hasan Minhaj filming a scene as well.
Tron fans have been sharing photos and excitement over the upcoming film in the r/tron subreddit.
On February 29, Disney released a first look at Leto in his costume as Ares.
In the press release, Disney announced Tron: Ares “follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”
Along with Leto, the cast includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson.
The film is being directed by Joachim Rønning who has worked on films like Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).
Tron: Ares will be released sometime in 2025.
