The West Vancouver Police Department says a late-night crash has turned fatal.
The WVPD has closed Highway 1 westbound from just past the Caulfeild Drive/Exit 4.

The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is currently on scene investigating. Traffic is backing up heavily into North Vancouver.
For those heading to the BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay terminal or the Sea to Sky Highway, you can take Exit 4 or Marine Drive.
