Skater kids descend on downtown Vancouver for Go Skate Day

Now two decades old, Go Skate Day was first celebrated in 2004 as a way to encourage people to try the sport and to bring the skateboarding community together.

Go Skate Day was created by the International Association of Skateboard Companies.

Skateboarding is set to make its second appearance in the Olympic Games this summer in Paris.
