‘Targeted, specific security threat’ closes Capilano University North Vancouver campuses

Capilano University’s North Shore campuses are closed Friday due to what the university describes as a “targeted, specific security threat.”

The North Vancouver and Lonsdale campuses are shut to both students and staff.

“Do not come to either campus,” the university shared online. CapU did not elaborate on what the threat is.

“We anticipate opening as usual Saturday, June 22.”
