The Ridge Meadows RCMP says a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Maple Ridge Thursday morning.
The incident happened along Dewdney Trunk Road near Laity Street before 8:30 a.m.
The intersection is blocked while police investigate the circumstances. “There is no anticipated time for reopening,” Corp. Dave Noon shared.
Police are asking drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area.
