‘Head on collision’ in B.C. kills two teenagers Sunday: RCMP

A serious collision in Northern B.C. killed two teenagers on Sunday.

Chetwynd RCMP says they responded to a crash just after midnight on April 7 on top of Wabi Hill on Highway 97.

Police say it was a “head-on collision” between two pickup trucks that crashed along the route.

Mounties say the crash killed a 19-year-old male driver and 15-year-old male passenger in the same vehicle, and a 21-year-old man in the other vehicle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

RCMP says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
