If you are planning on heading outside Sunday, think about grabbing an umbrella.
A rainfall warning is in effect across Metro Vancouver and parts of the South Coast, stretching all the way from Squamish through to Hope.
Up to 60 millimetres of rain is expected through Sunday into the evening.
“A moisture laden Pacific frontal system will reach the South Coast this morning bringing heavy rain to the aforementioned regions,” Environment Canada said.
“The rain will begin early this morning and then intensify this afternoon.”
The weather service warns that flash floods and water pooling on roads are possible. Rain is expected to ease to showers early Monday.
