Parts of Lougheed highway have been shut down Friday evening after a possible shooting in Maple Ridge, police say.
Ridge Meadows RCMP confirm to CityNews they were called out to reports of shots fired around Lougheed highway and 223rd street.
As a result, Lougheed Highway has been shutdown between the Haney Bypass and 224th Street and is expected to be closed for the next couple of hours.
Police say there is no risk to the public and they are looking to speak to witnesses.
