Pro-Palestinian protesters shut down East Vancouver rail line

Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters shut down an East Vancouver rail line Friday afternoon.

Up to about 50 people gathered around 12:30 p.m. and are standing on the tracks, surrounded by Vancouver Police Department officers.

Police have given the protesters a deadline to move off the tracks near Kaslo Street and East 12th Avenue before they will forcibly remove them from the area.
