A fourth man has been arrested in the June 2023 killing of B.C. Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, according to a news release from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).
Amandeep Singh, 22, was arrested Saturday and charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Singh, who is an Indian national, resided in Brampton, Ont., Surrey, B.C., and Abbotsford, B.C., according to the IHIT, and was already in custody for unrelated firearms charges out of Peel Region in Ontario.
Investigators arrested three other men in Nijjar’s killing earlier this month: Karan Brar, 22, Kamalpreet Singh, 22, and Karanpreet Singh, 28.
