Traffic on the Sea to Sky Highway is stopped in both directions just south of Britannia Beach near the mining museum.
Photos from the scene show cars completely stopped heading south and no traffic coming through northbound. An RCMP helicopter is flying over and multiple first responders are in the area too.
DriveBC says the southbound lanes of the highway are closed north of Daisy Creek because of a vehicle incident.
“Expect major delays,” the agency said on social media.
