Canucks jerseys flying off the shelves

After a big win in Game 1 over the Edmonton Oilers, fans are buying up Canucks merch and showing love to their favourite players.

According to the Canucks Team Store in Rogers Arena, team captain Quinn Hughes has the top selling jersey in town.

After Hughes, Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser, and Thatcher Demko round out the top 5 most popular jerseys.

“I have four jerseys, but I am looking to get Hughes on one,” one fan told CityNews. “I already have a Pettersson one.”

“We got the jersey, we got the shirt,” another fan said. “We are going all out for Vancouver.”

The Nils Höglander jerseys were all sold out Thursday, as well as the ones for playoff standout Dakota Joshua.

“I recently bought a Nils Höglander jersey after Game 1,” said another fan. “I love his grit and his play.”

Fans will get their next chance to suit up and support the team once again on Friday for Game 2.
