17 London Drugs stores reopen after cyberattack

London Drugs is slowly reopening its Western Canada locations after a cyberattack tied up much of its operations for almost a week.

According to the retailer, 17 locations are now back to normal operations in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, along with eight across the rest of B.C.

The company says at this point there is no evidence that any customer databases have been compromised, including pharmacy patients.

London Drugs closed its more than 80 locations across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba on April 28 in response to the reported cybersecurity incident.

London Drugs locations began slowly coming back online Thursday when phone lines became operational again. They had been taken offline “as a necessary part of its internal investigation.”

A full list of stores that have reopened can be found on the London Drugs website.
