Surrey man arrested Monday for fatal White Rock Stabbing

A Surrey man was arrested on Monday, in relation to a fatal White Rock stabbing that shook the neighbourhood last week.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says a 28-year-old man was arrested for stabbing Kulwinder Sohi, a 26-year-old man on Tuesday, April 23 in White Rock.

Sohi was with a friend near Marine Drive, just east of Dolphin Street, when he was stabbed just before 9:30 p.m.

“This remains a very active investigation,” says Sergeant Timothy Pierotti of IHIT.

“We recognize the public’s concern for safety and want to provide updates as soon as possible.”

IHIT says it is still asking for witnesses to come forward, and looking for dashcam footage from anyone in the area between 8 and 10 p.m. on April 23.
