One man has been charged after a fatal stabbing outside the John B Pub in Coquitlam Friday evening.
Mounties were called to the area just after 9:30 p.m. after reports of a fight outside the business located at 1000 Avenue.
“Bystanders acted quickly by providing First Aid and CPR to a man who was suffering from life-threatening injuries,” the Coquitlam RCMP said.
“First responders attended but despite the best efforts of paramedics, the 35-year-old man died from his injuries on scene.”
In an update Monday, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) said a 32-year-old man has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.
