Air Canada has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Halifax, Nova Scotia down to $344 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can also find vice-versa flights (Halifax to Vancouver) for a similar roundtrip price.
1-stop flights from Victoria are also available for $366 roundtrip.
Note: Air Canada now charges $74 roundtrip for carry-on luggage. I’ve already factored this in. So when I say the price is $344 roundtrip it means you can find the ‘without any luggage’ fare on search engines for $270 roundtrip.
UPDATE: Air Canada is currently showing a few nonstop flights in early May for $344 roundtrip. 1 stop flights in May and June are also available for this price. Flights from Victoria are not currently cheap.

1. Start with the following Google Flights search:

Google Flights: Victoria to Halifax, Nova Scotia (1 Stop)
– Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
– Browse for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
– Look for the dates that are $270 roundtrip.
2. Go to FlightHub or Skyscanner or Kayak
3. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Halifax, Nova Scotia (YHZ)
– Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
