In early January, Pedro Pascal was asked about the second season and whether it would deviate from the game the show is based on.

“I think that they’re always going to find ways to build on the incredible source material that they have, and surprise us with how they can use that material in a different format like a television show,” Pascal told Deadline. “But I wouldn’t want to spoil it for anybody, and the truth is, I don’t actually have all of the information as of yet.”

In early January fans got an update regarding the show, including the stars joining the cast: Isabela Merced who would be starring as Dina, Kaitlyn Dever as Abby and Young Mazino as Jesse.

Season 1 of the show was filmed around Alberta and in 2023 it was announced Season 2 would be moving its production to B.C.
