Someone in Canada just won a MASSIVE $54 million lottery prize

A Canadian lottery player will start 2025 as a multimillionaire.

After 22 tries, the gold ball was finally picked in Saturday night’s Lotto 6/49.

Someone in Alberta matched the winning numbers 35353629-01, taking home the incredible lottery jackpot of $54 million.

The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 08, 16, 18, 23, 34, 36, and bonus 12.

Sadly, no one matched all six numbers to win the $5 million top prize. Even the second prize of $254,199.60 went unclaimed, with no lottery players matching even five of the six winning numbers.

The winning numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 16, 24, 27, and 45.

It looks like all of the luck went to the new multimillionaire in Alberta.

Unfortunately, no Canadian lottery players matched the all four of the winning numbers to win the $500,000 prize. However, 58 people matched three out of four, taking home a modest $1,000 each.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Wednesday, which is New Year’s Day. The pot resets to 30 balls with a $10 million lottery prize.

There’s also the Lotto Max draw on New Year’s Eve with $20 million up for grabs.

There were plenty of major lottery wins recently.

A group of five colleagues from Quebec were having an ordinary day at work when they received a huge bonus.

That bonus wasn’t from their employer, but rather from the $1 million jackpot they won playing Lotto Max.

Another lottery winner who believes in “doing good for others” won a huge lottery prize after a spur-of-the-moment decision.

The skilled trades worker from Guelph, Ontario, has been a regular lotto player for years. He usually plays 6/49 but recently picked up a Millionaire Multiplier ticket on a whim.

Turns out he made the right choice because he ended up winning the $1 million jackpot.
