Taylor Swift is finally in Vancouver Friday for the first of three concerts at BC Place — the last stop on her wildly successful Eras Tour.
After much fanfare, including special activations by Vancouver’s tourism agencies to mark the occasion, Swift’s plane touched down at Vancouver International Airport.
The landing was tracked by keen Swifties on social media, with the final landing happening Thursday night.
The jet connected to Taylor Swift first came to Vancouver on November 30, before flying back to Nashville and then returning to Vancouver.

Swifties lined up in downtown Vancouver for two merch drops along the Coal Harbour seawall. A Ferris wheel has been set up downtown, and the Gastown steam clock even changed its tune to play Swift’s “Shake it Off.”
The Vancouver Police Department’s Tania Visintin called the weekend the city’s “biggest cultural event in years.” The force is expecting 250,000 people to pass through the Stadium District this weekend for Swift, a Canucks game, and Cirque du Soleil.
An extra challenge is that close to three-quarters of attendees are expected to be coming from outside the city, and may not know their way around.
Parts of downtown will be restricted to concert ticket holders only, and the West Vancouver Police Department issued a traffic advisory warning drivers of long Lions Gate Bridge delays over the weekend.
