12-year-old girl missing from Fort Nelson has been found

A 12-year-old girl who went missing from the community of Fort Nelson in B.C.’s far north has now been located, according to the RCMP.

Girl was reported missing on April 16

A 12-year-old girl who went missing from the community of Fort Nelson in northeastern British Columbia has now been found, police said.

In a statement Thursday morning, the RCMP thanked the public for its assistance in finding the girl.

Police say she was first reported missing Tuesday.
