BC’s very own Felix Cartal is back at it again with another free show for fans, and this one is happening rain or shine!
The ubiquitous DJ sent a message to his followers on Wednesday, November 13, alerting them that he is performing a “massive free outdoor party” tonight at 6 pm.
Felix Cartal is headlining the Grey Cup Festival Kickoff Party at Canada Place Way and Vancouver Convention Centre East, part of this week’s huge lineup of events.
Music lovers will appreciate the chance to see more than 20 free concerts throughout the Grey Cup Festival. The tunes won’t stop as names like Chad Brownlee, Dear Rough, Delhi 2 Dublin, and more rock out. Felix Cartal kicks things off on November 13 with his signature DJ set.
It’s been a busy week for the Juno Award winner, who recently hosted a pop-up set at The Cambie. During the free show, Cartal surprised the audience with special guests Tegan and Sara.
The Grey Cup Festival has kicked off, which means Vancouver is hosting a ton of fun events in the lead-up to the big game. While there are many free things to do in the city, some of the best parties require tickets.
And while the schedule of festivities includes Canada’s largest drone show, a special water-crossing zip line, and more, there will also be several major road closures to accommodate all of the activities. The City is warning drivers and event-goers that traffic will be impacted in several ways.
